Cruising the Mediterranean

The last couple of weeks we have been cruising the Mediterranean on the Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas!

We ate LOTS of yummy food!

Relaxed.
Hung out with family.
 We went ice skating.

Jake won first place in the speed climbing contest!

We played a bunch of rounds of mini golf.

 And saw some amazing sunsets!

Thanks to the generosity of my Uncle Jeff and Aunt Marianne we had the experience of a lifetime. We were able to go with 19 other members of our family. We saw the most amazing things and missed our little boy like crazy! Thanks to all the family back at home who helped take such good care of Cooper while we were away. More pictures to come of the amazing places we visited!

Mini Golfing

Jake had Friday of last week off, so we decided to have a little bit of fun! We decided to attempt mini golfing again. (The first time we went it was over 100 degrees outside, and we didn't realize it but Cooper had a fever over a 100 and he was MISERABLE!) This time went MUCH better and all of us had a blast!

And yes...I finally got the OK from Jake to give Cooper a haircut!

Then we let Cooper and Jake try to motorcycle game in the arcade.

Afterwards we decided to go to Weber State to feed the ducks. Cooper and Jake had their duck and goose calls around their necks and bread in hand!

 We found this HUGE turtle!

On Saturday we drove up to Snowbird for the first cycle-cross race of the season. Jake was doing great and sitting in 3rd until the end of the first lap when he got a flat. He was forced to be done with 35 minutes of the race remaining. He was pretty bummed out. Unfortunately I didn't get very many pictures because he only went by us once as he was running up this hill. Hopefully he will have better luck next time around!
Coop loved getting his bike out and riding around with Jake.
He even found a friend to ride with. He thought it was the end of the world when we had to pack up the bikes and go home.

One night as we were getting ready for bed Coop decided he needed to blow his nose.  Instead of getting one tissue and doing his business, he decided to scatter the entire box of tissues all down the stairs. Although it doesn't look like it, we really do supervise our child! We had a hard time not laughing, but tried to make it clear that he shouldn't do that again!
